aircraft sales, flight instruction, and aircraft detailing.
Starts at $16-21 an hour based on experience.
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Ground Support Equipment Technician to join our team full-time.
Job Summary
The GSE Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment and stationary equipment such as SFC fuel trucks, tugs, deicing equipment, stationary air conditioning units, air starts, ground power units, SFC crew cars, and other equipment in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
This is a multi-faceted position that requires excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving skills and to be a self-starter to ensure that Synergy can provide all services to our customers.
The GSE Technician will report to the Director of Operations. The GSE Technician may also cross train as a Parts Specialist and Ramp Operation Technician, aiding the Parts and Ramp Operation departments, as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
Diagnosis and repair of many varied types and makes of automotive, ramp, provisioning, and deicing equipment utilized at Synergy.
Performance of preventative maintenance on airline ground equipment.
Maintenance and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Minor and major body repairs.
Manage the maintenance requirements and repair of all service equipment
May perform other duties as assigned to support the success and positive image
Synergy Flight Center. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, technical developments, etc).
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Must possess a valid Driver’s License for operating ground support equipment
High School Diploma (essential requirement)
Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements.
Ability to lift and move items up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching, lifting, climbing stairs and prolonged periods of standing in addition to walking long distances
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, middays, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors for an extended amount of time during cold/wet or hot conditions
Participate in initial and random drug and alcohol screenings in accordance with state and Federal guidelines
